Who Matters

This year's theme is "Who Matters?" As we tour the schools, visit landmarks, and engage in discussions, our scholars are tasked with identifying and reflecting examples to support either "Black Life Matters" or " All Life Matters".

I took this picture at the Lincoln Memorial. In his immancipation proclamation, he use the word "all". When I read old and new passages, I wonder who is the all. Does the all include everyone, or does it include a specific group of people.

It is written and spoken even now, but still people are missing. The question is: Do people naturally forget? Is it intentional? or Is it something that is not important to some?

Well, our scholars will be debating on this subject in a few days.
